Next to the BWP Online Foal Auction (September 28 - October 1 and October 5 - October 8), the national contest best overall Belgian riding pony (Oct. 6) and the BWP Breeding Day (Oct. 13), the preparations for the 2019 BWP Stallion Approval have started.
Like every year, the BWP stallion selection spreads over three phases. The first phase, i.e. the veterinary examinations in Gent, has been running for some time now. Candidates have to make an appointment before Oct. 31 (09/264.76.18).
The second phase will take place January 17-19 in Azelhof in Lier. The third phase will be organized in Zilveren Spoor in Moorsele March 14-16. After a few successful editions of the BWP Top Stallion Auction, that stallion auction will be held again January 19.
In order to keep you fully informed, the BWP Stallion Selection website is now online. There you can find everything concerning that biggest BWP event of the year, including how and when to enroll, the programme, last year's toppers, the auction and much more.
