Type :

Comthago van de Helle is een rijtypische hengst die goed in het rechthoekmodel staat. Hij heeft een aansprekend front met een lange goedgevormde hals. De schouder is goed gelegen en de schoft is goed ontwikkeld. In het middenstuk is hij goed gelijnd en sterk. De achterhand kan iets meer bespiering hebben.    

 

Beenwerk :

Het beenwerk is sterk ontwikkeld. Hij heeft goede lengte in het beenwerk. Hij is iets lang gekoot en vooraan is hij iets Vlaams gesteld. De hoeven zijn goed.

 

Bewegingen :

De stap is ruim. De draf is ruim maar kan iets actiever zijn achteraan. De galop is ruim en met voldoende evenwicht. Op de harde bodem beweegt hij voldoende ruim. Hij draaft achteraan iets open. 

 

Springen in vrijheid :

Bij het vrijspringen kan hij goed schakelen in de lijn. De voorbeentechniek is soms iets ongelijk. Het  lichaamsgebruik is goed. Hij toont veel vermogen.

 

Rijden onder de testruiters :

Onder het zadel is de looplust goed en Rittigkeit voldoende tot goed. Hij houdt het hoofd iets achter de teugel waardoor er aanleuning wordt gemist. De stap en draf zijn goed. De galop is voldoende ruim.   

 

Springen onder het zadel :

Comthago van de Helle is attent en voorzichtig bij het springen onder het zadel. Hij heeft goede reflexen op de sprong. Het ruggebruik is voldoende. Hij kan achteraan iets meer uitzwaaien. Hij toont goed vermogen.  

 

Comthago van de Helle is een goed gelijnde hengst die met Comme il Faut, Carthago en Lord het betere springbloed voert.

Modèle :

Comthago van de Helle est un étalon de selle typique qui se situe bien dans un modèle rectangulaire. Il a un front plaisant avec une longue encolure bien formée.  Les épaules sont bien disposées et le garrot est bien développé. La ligne du dos est bien dessinée et forte. L’arrière-main pourrait être un rien plus musclée.     

 

Membres :

Les membres sont forts développés. Ceux-ci sont de bonne longueur. Il est un peu long jointé et au niveau des antérieurs ses aplombs sont un rien de type Flamands. Les pieds sont bons.

 

Allures :

Le pas est ample. Le trot est ample mais pourrait être plus actif au niveau des postérieurs. Le galop est ample et avec suffisamment d’équilibre. Sur sol dur, il se déplace avec suffisamment d’ampleur. Il trotte un rien ouvert des postérieurs.   

 

Saut en liberté:

Lors de l’épreuve de saut en liberté il sait bien revenir dans la ligne. La technique des antérieurs est parfois irrégulière. Il utilise bien son corps. Il montre beaucoup moyens.

 

 Évaluation des cavaliers tests  :

Sous la selle, son envie d’aller de l’avant est bonne et la manière de se comporter sous la selle  obtient les scores de suffisant  à bon.  Il tient la tête un rien derrière la main ce qui compromet la prise de contact.  Le pas et le trot sont bons. Le galop est suffisamment ample.   

 

Obstacle sous la selle :

Comthago van de Helle est attentif et prudent lorsqu’il saute en liberté. Il a de bons réflexes sur les barres.  L’utilisation de son dos est suffisante. Il pourrait basculer un rien plus l’arrière-main. Il montre de bons moyens.  

 

Comthago van de Helle est un étalon qui possède de longues lignes qui avec Comme il Faut, Carthago et Lord apporte le meilleur sang de chevaux d’obstacle.

Comthago van de Helle is a rideable stallion with a good rectangular conformation. He has an expressive front with along well-shaped neck. The should is well-positioned and the withers is well-developed. The middle section is good and strong. The hindquarter could be slightly more muscular.

 

Legs :

The legs are very well-developed. The legs have a good length. His pasterns are slightly long and his front legs are a little toes-in. The hoofs are good.

 

Movements :

The walk is covering. The trot is covering but could be more active in the hindquarter. The canter is covering and sufficiently balanced. He moves sufficiently covering on the hard surface. He trots slightly open with his hind legs.

 

Free jumping :

In the line with fences he switches easily. The technique of his front legs is sometimes slightly irregular. The use of his body is good. He shows much power.

 

Riding under test riders :

The willingness to work under the saddle is good, the ‘rittigkeit’ is sufficient to good. He keeps his head a little behind the bit which causes a lack of contact. The walk and trot are good. The canter is sufficiently covering.

 

Jumping under the saddle :

Comthago van de Helle is attentive and careful under the saddle. He has good reflexes on the jump. The use of his back is sufficient. He could swing out a little more. He shows power.

 

Comthago van de Helle is a well-shaped stallion who carries the good jumping blood such as Comme Il Faut, Carthago and Lord.
